It seems to me that SWSDA has so many different accounts, payable and receivable, and expenses, you would think they were running a small country.
They have PROJECT FUNDING AND CORE FUNDING but most people don't know what sort of projects they are doing.
They have NET INCOME LOSS at over one million dollars, They should have declared bankruptcy.
The TELEPHONE EXPENSE is an unbelievable $76,194
MARKETING AND ADVERTISING almost $300,000 I have never seen an advertisment , have you?
TOTAL LIABILITES just over $4 million
CHEQUES ISSUED IN EXCESS OF FUNDS ON DEPOSIT $144.494 They think money grows on trees or something.
I wonder what the SWSDA budget looks like. What where their good projects ? I never get to read about the good things that they do at SWSDA, only about things that are very controversial.
SWSDA TAKES YOUR TAX DOLLARS AND WASTES A LOT OF IT, I FOR ONE AM TIRED OF NEVER HEARING ANYTHING GOOD ABOUT SWSDA

they say "The two international car ferries serving Yarmouth are the CAT, a high speed ferry travelling to Bar Harbour in 2.75 hours; and Prince of Fundy Cruises Ltd.'s Scotia Prince, which sails between Yarmouth and Portland from May through October. Both vessels are end loaders."
I think that proves it, they don't know what they are doing.
Lawyer Clyde Nickerson ,at least , is trying to keep those holding meetings behind closed doors honest.
Hopefully he will get good support.
Finally maybe others with power to get things back on track will get involved !
These people are by N.S. Law qualified to do an audit? This in comparrison with the other unaudited statement leave a lot to be desired in both the level of professionalism as well as the entity they are in fact auditing...and only two comments on this, hummm

1.Where's the promised audit of SWSDA dealings in both the Boy School and the Base?
2.What has Belliveau had to say about this promise?
3.Why are Dexter and Paris allowing this farce to continue?
4.Can we really expect a change in the way ERD funds this Society, or is it more of the same for another 3+ yrs?
5.Is the eastern portion of Shelburne Co. receiving the attention it deserves from our MLA?
6.Has the Ombudsman forgotten about his review of the operations within SWSDA/YAIC?
