Simple...... those are the questions that need to be answered by the community if you are setting up a new RDA.... or they will be decided by the folks in Halifax.
Soo... let's start the survey.
Question # 1 ... Would you like your new RDA to serve Clare, the present municipalities in Yarmouth County as well as the five in Shelburne?
Question # 2 ... Would you prefer your new RDA to serve only Shelburne County?
Question # 3 ... Would you prefer your new RDA to serve only Eastern or Western Shelburne County?
In addition to your vote, your views on which would be most beneficial to your community would be interesting.
Send them in today along with your vote and get others to express their views.....

If only we knew who would look after finding and investing funds wisely....CHOICES MIGHT BE EASIER TO MAKE.
Groups working together with a qualified honest leader would be good in each choice but Shelburne has been ignored for too long by ones with power!
I would like to ask questions. Who is going to answer? When can I ask ? Will I ever be able to ask anyone ? I think a Development authority is a must. A new one has to be different than the last one. I sent my e-mail address so that I can sign a petition for a public meeting if there is ever going to be one. Until till then I will have to follow this blog. Thank you.
The opinion amongst our group of five is that Shelburne County should go with East and West RDAs, or each council should go it alone without involvement in an RDA.(3 votes for separate East and West RDAs/2 for no RDA)
There is no reason Lockeport, Shelburne and the Municipality can't work together to formulate planning for this area and apply for funding of projects. Surely they have most of this on paper now.
If they feel they can't work together - let each council go their separate way. All we really care is that they stop their dithering and get on with business.
BTW, the two votes for no involvement in the RDA setup is lack of confidence in Paris and Thompson. As they say Paris hasn't been heard from since the week he was named Minister of ERD, and Thompson has dirty hands from his oversight and lack of checks and balances of SWSDA.
Please ,get this info in local and daily papers ;as I feel too many good people are still uninformed to all the dishonest ways business has been handled by those who still BS through life in all areas of politics .
Still like idea of more signs popping up unexpectedly,also !!!!!!!! FAB FOLKS U R !!!!!
