SWSDA Poll of Directors shows .... Only 4 out of 14 Directors Want Training .... Remember.... you heard it here first!
SWSDA Budget Cut $40,000 ...... CEO briefed Board of Directors ..... Province cut core funding because SWSDA met expectations! How weird is that?!? I really am not laughing at SWSDA.... well maybe I am.... but only a bit..... still shaking my head..... wait... gotta pick myself up off the floor....
Little wonder Mr. Anderson wanted Province to reconsider .....
WOW! Gives a whole new meaning to the word preposterous...... Can hardly wait to get Provincial response to my FOIPOP request for copy of Performance Review and methodology....
Anyway.... read the minutes... they are better than cartoons these days....!!

With your background Ed, you can read between the lines and recognize that things are not always as they appear. Yes, that will be interesting when they release the Performance Review.
Isn't it nice to see that ten of the board feel they know it all, and don't require any training on their fiduciary duties. Hmmm, there are many who beg to differ with them.

Poor Frank, he met performance expectations, but still lost 40 grand in funding. Sounds to me like ERD cut the apron strings on him, no doubt with orders from the backroom boys who saw the spotlight focusing on SWSDA. Guess that means Frank's going to have to start buying his own booze, cut out the late night dining, drop the Corenet membership and the yearly week away to chum with his cronies, and heavens, worst of all, no more vacations across the pond. Pity!
There is a mind set out there that if you do not know what you should be doing then you are not guilty of anything if you neglect to do what you ought to have done but made certain you did not know about it..........
