Psst...... Did I Mention Double Dipping?

-------- Your tax dollars at work ---------

You may recall that in my blog of April 20, 2009 I may have mentioned a $40.00 tip for a late evening expense of $130.65 incurred by Mr. Anderson. If you do, you may recall that I asked at the time what the $170.65 was for... now we know!

How do we know? Simple..... Mr. Anderson already had claimed his meal allowance for three meals for the 18th of May when the Triangle Ale House charges were incurred at 10:30 that night. At least that's what his expense claim for May 17, 18, 19 and 20 says. Soooo.... this must have been dinner and/or drinks for someone else.... wonder how many people? Someone should ask him.

Funny that this wasn't picked up by an ever-watchful member of the Board or the Executive or a bookeeper or SWSDA's accountant... of course since Mr. Anderson appears to approve his own expenses (just like the Cabinet Ministers)it would be hard for anyone to notice any irregularities.... if there were any of course!

Who does Mr Anderson report to? Are any of his superiors aware of these actions or does he do anything he wants?

I agree with the first comment on Frank's expenses without anyone questioning him about them - what does he have over the voting board members? He is not an elected official, but a CEO of an RDA which is a public body receiving funding through taxpayer's dollar$ - our tax dollars!

Enough already. Demand that Mayor Delaney, Warden Embree, and your town or municipal councillors reveal what they know about this whole mess created by Frank and Richard Hurlburt.

Enough already, of the silence from the voting board members. Fear of retaliation is no excuse for letting the unscrupulous run such a shoddy RDA. The rest of the province's RDAs appear to be doing a good job for their areas, and not lining the pockets of their political cronies. We should demand nothing but the same for Shelburne County. Let's get some bang for these buck$ instead of being put in a hole that will only result in our taxes skyrocketing in the future.

Only in the Shelburne area could such a farce be carried on for such a long period of time. Some things never change, but with our votes changing the current government, there is still hope we will learn the truth about Frank's dealings with Rodney and his boys.
