Did I Mention on the Way to Vegas?

-------- Your tax dollars at work ---------

It just doesn't seem to stop.....

On the way to Las Vegas with his wife Mr. Anderson stopped in Halifax on October 19 and charged $348.32 for dinner at the Keg Restaurant.... that's an invoice for $298.32 plus a tip of the taxpayers money for $50.00!.... Even though he had already billed SWSDA on his travel claim for his daily allowance for breakfast, lunch and dinner..... Reminds me of the line from that old swing standard ... "great, if you can get it .... and you can get it .... if you try....."!!

Frank, Frank, Frank, you've taken us for the suckers we are, and we let you get away with it. Silly us!

Now, how do we get all of these illegal expenses reimbursed to the SWSDA expense fund? Sounds like another court case around the corner, only this time by the taxpayers who have been shafted during your reign.

As for Darian, I am totally cross that you didn't speak out when you were removed as Treasurer, and extremely cross at your peers who didn't speak up in support of your demands.

This has gone on far too long, and it is definitely coming to an end. Good luck to the Board of Directors, but I think you all have played a part in the deceit at the expense of the citizens of the area. Shame on you!

Confusion has set in after reading all of this. I read on SWSDA's website that Darian Huskilson is the Treasurer, and Rod Rose is the Chairman. When was Darian removed? Who is the current Treasurer?

Frank's too busy with fine dining to ensure his website is updated regularly me thinks.

Was this Vegas trip SWSDA related? If not, why would he submit expenses during this travel?

Gee, I didn't know The Keg served Kobi beef these days! How was it Frank?

How could he and his wife spend 300 (plus 50 tip) on a meal at The Keg? That place isn't fine dining. Even with drinks it wouldn't add up. This had to be for more than two people eating out on our money. Why was he going to Vegas? Was it personal or business? If it was personal he had no right claiming anything for SWSDA expenses. Something is wrong here. No wonder he fought tooth and nail to avoid releasing this info. I can't wait for the next installment Ed! Wish you had been elected Mayor way back when. Things would have been so much better for the town.

This is unbelievable. Why haven't we heard of this before? He isn't even an elected official and he is spending taxpayer's money without any questions being asked. I see this is for just one year. I can imagine what the grand total would be from the mid 90's to 2009. Unreal. Why isn't the Coast Guard reporting this? What a town! No wonder we are a have not province if this is a sample of what the pols are spending our money on. Maybe Huskilson doesn't deserve our vote if he knew this was going on.
