-------- Your tax dollars at work ---------

Speaking of the MOS..... here is a recent report submitted to the Committee of the Whole.... Feel free to speak to Council members and the Warden to see what decisions Council made, based on this report and the clear recommendations provided by Mr. Cox.......
WHAT A CHANGE SINCE PAULETTE SCOTT, PAT NICKERSON,RAYMOND DAVIS AND REG RIDGELEY HAVE GONE! WOW!!
Why doesn't the Coast Guard provide better coverage & information about this stuff?

"Sheesh" Ed, I can't keep up with you today with this low dial-up speed. You're certainly making up for lost time!
Those are well guided suggestions for the Committee of the Whole from Mr. Cox, 4 Jun 09, but when the committee met 8 Jun 09, it's as one of your readers said, "they went and did a stupid." (From your blog, "SWSDA AGM" - Comment 28 July 3:52 pm)
Why they moved to Strike 7.d Motion #1 is beyond words. This is the old one step forward and two steps back thing isn't it? Who really knows what's going on in Embree's mind these days as he never has much of substance to relay to his commoners.

Who are the employees for SWSDA in Shelburne office? (...probably travel from Yarmouth ...)

12:26 - It's interesting to see that their computer whiz once honed his computer skills with the Calgary Police Force. Amazing that he is now employed by the Bada Bada Bing Society. Hope he's working under cover!

12:26 - We looked this up a few months ago, so it may be out of date:
Joan Bower, Development Officer Shelburne
Brenda Oickle, Volunteer Co-Ord.
Shawna Swaine, Admin. Assistant
Doreen Guy, Project Staff

The Shelburne staff are only doing what they were hired to do, and have no say in the power above them...

Anon 12:25 Those committee mtg. minutes don't tell us much do they? Wouldn't you have liked to hear why they moved to strike the motion recommended to them by Mr. Cox and what the following conflab was all about? Enquiring minds want to know who said what and why - maybe Mr. Embree will keep his electorate informed if we all holler sooo LOUD he can't ignore us anymore. Remove your fingers from your ears Sherm!
Kudos to Mr. Cox for seeing the light!

Was there a closed door session before the Committee of the Whole meeting? Things are still not right within MoS but there is hope Kirk Cox will continue doing what appears to be a good job.
